House

The house is a big house, two stories, but the second one is not used. I has one confortable bedroom for two people, a big nice bathroom, a dining room, a kitchen and a big living room where another person can fit. It has a garden and also a dog that will need some loving. It is located in a very nice and quite area not far from the city but still considered a suburban area. I have a small car that will also be available.

Surroundings

The area where it is located is sorrounded by mountains and nature. There is a river one or two kilometers away from the house which is ideal for morning walks with the sound of the water flowing down. It is very relaxing. The downtown is 30 minutes away by bus and some 15 to 20 mins by car, depending on the traffic. What's beautiful about Mérida is its surrounding areas, which inlcudes mountains all over, parks in the city that are nice to sit a read for a while or even eat something small. There are lots of towns that are worth while visiting. You can also do some paragliding, rafting, canyoning or take the cable car (which is the highest in the world) and do some long hicking to small towns in the mountain. The same thing can be also done by car... but doing walking is very interesting.
The city hosts one of the biggest universities in the country and people usually say that this a city within a university, because the campuses are located all over the city and the university is really important. The Pico Bolivar (Bolivar Peak) is the highest in the country and it's part of the Andes.
