Directly on the Atlantic ocean in a luxury building with a pool, hot-tub, grill, and patio chairs in front of miles long, palm-tree beach. It is a studio apartment in a nice building called the Wave. You can look up the building info online at thewavecondos.com and I will post pictures of my studio soon. I have a balcony with the ocean right next to you, a dishwasher, computer/internet, a bike, a queen size bed and a small couch. The place would suit 2 people well, but if you have a child that doesn't mind sleeping on the loveseat, or on an airmattress on the floor, it could fit 3. You can also use my car. It is a 2004 Hyundai Elantra, very reliable. There is free valet parking.

Surroundings

The place is right on the south end of Hollywood Beach, near the border of Hallandale Beach. You can walk a mile down the beach and you'll find the Hollywood Broadwalk with all kinds of international restaurants as well as entertainment (music, bike rental, a park). Or you can drive 5 minutes (or take a trolley) to downtown Hollywood, which is a few blocks of good restaurants and small shops, bars, parks, and galleries. If you want a bigger city you can drive 20 minutes to either Fort Lauderdale to the North or Miami to the South. The Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood airport is about 15 minutes away and the Miami airport is 25-35 minutes away.
