The apartment is in a compound that most residens are chinese middle class, of course also some international residens are living there. you can easily get any where with metro, bus, taxi. those pubilc transportations are very low cost, metro is 2 yuan pro trip, and is fast. you can take metro line 10 to olympic city, or take metro line 10 for 2 stops then swich to line 1 to tiananmen square , palace, and the museums. in the evening the local life has started, there are people dancing and singing together, every one is welcomme to join in. and in the morning people do taichi and gongfu, good opportunity to watch and join the local life styl. the local restaurants in the area are countless, cover a number of chinese and western cuisine in reasonable price, just enjoy the east experience.
