How about staying a while in a lively port city in the South of France ?<br />

New grandparents plan to visit our baby grand-daughter during the summer/fall in San Francisco and would like to swap our flat in central Marseille for a similar apartment in San Francisco (preferably centrally located as my son lives in the Duboce area). Must be in San Francisco proper.<br />
<br />
Prefer one to two month swap.<br />

Our fifth floor flat (with elevator and balcony) has one main bedroom, sitting-room, dining-room, kitchen, office/loft and bathroom ; and can also sleep one or two other people in the sitting-room or in the loft. Ideal for a couple with 1 child. Location is within walking distance of the old port (10 minutes), of the train station (15 minutes), of the nearest beach (25 minutes), and of every kind of shop. We could also swap our Nissan Primera car (which has a parking space nearby) for your car.<br />
<br />
Marseille is less than 3 hours drive from the Italian border, 3 hours by fast train from Paris and within easy reach of the whole of Provence by car. Telephone from France is free to mainland US fixed or mobile phones. Photos attached of the flat.
