Property description

Sweet 2 room apartment in the centre of Amsterdam, available from august 16-26th.
Who would like to use my apartment in the period of 16 to 16 August? In return I am looking for a flat in NYC for two 25 year old girls, a journalist from Paris and a student / teacher from Amsterdam.

About the apartment:
My place has two rooms, a kitchen and a bath room, al together it is 55m2 wide. Equipped with a two persons bed in the bedroom, it is suitable for two people, although two couches in the living room could be used if you come in 3 or 4.
My flat is well taken care of, therefore I am looking for people who would treat it with care. It goes without saying that I will do the same in return.
Together with a French friend I am seeking for a place in NYC, simpleness is fine, as long as it can give shelter the two of us for some (or more) days between August 16-26.
About us:
I am Lotte, both a student (art school) and a teacher (academic writing) in Amsterdam. I’m travelling with a French friend who I met a few years ago, while studying in Rome through a University Exchange project. She’s called Laure, and as a freelance journalist in Paris she writes for the newspaper and (cultural) magazines.
We’re social and like ‘intercultural travelling’, flatmates would of course not be a problem.
Also a close friend of ours lives in New Jersey, if it comes in handy he could easily help out by organizing the keys or just going for a coffee to discuss more details.
If you know anything, please contact me. If not for swap, we’re also interested in sublet.

Surroundings

Dam Square is on 5 min. walking distance. My flat is situated in the city centre, in a quiet street right behind the Waterlooplein market, the music theatre and three steps away from Newmarket: a historical square which once had the city wall but today it’s filled with restaurants, bars and of course the Waag.
