The cottage has 4 bedrooms, and can comfortably accommdate 7. There is a spacious lounge with a wood burner and a separate dining room with an open coal fire. The kitchen is large and well appointed with a walk in pantry and separate utlity room. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath and shower and one with a walk in shower (suitable for disabled access). We also have a gym which is very well equipped with a large range of exercise equipment. <br />

The garden is almost an acre, and we have a beautiful summerhouse with a wood burning stove which provides a real haven of peace and tranquility. There are a number of different patio areas throughout the garden where you can sit and enjoy the view over the hills at the bottom of the garden and the quiet. We also benefit from having a small hot tub, which is under a gazebo adjacent to the summerhouse. <br />

The village where we live is very picturesque and our neighbours are friendly and welcoming. There are many activities in the vicinity, and a number of lovely restaurants and cozy pubs to eat in. If you enjoy walking or hiking, then the Roberton moors are on your doorstep and we are nestled in the foot of the Lanark hills. <br />
